This is a free open source software that works with multiple flavors of databases. It also imports CSV files. It does a variety of "I don't do statistics" analysis on data to sophisticated analysis for those who are more advanced, that contain analysis of data where you set the variables to get accurate results. It creates terrific charts and web pages for both table representations and charts.

Did we mention it was free? Works on Macs, Linux and of Course Windows.

Affordable Color Calibrator
This one comes highly rated for the price. With most calibration devices around $200 and not getting near the review this one got, it's worth a look. Having a color calibrated monitor is a sometimes a pain, but when your prints don't look like your monitor it makes that pain diminish into nothing.

AVG Virus Software
Best kept secret. Free highly effective Virus software. They also have a pro version that allow you to schedule scans. Very well behaved application. If it's scanning it will slow itself down so you can work. It auto-check for new virus protection updates every four hours.
